A public assistance of 2 billion was raised during the premiere screening of the film "Gholamreza Takhti"

According to Mehr News Agency, quoting the Public Relations of Farabi Cinema Foundation, a gathering ceremony was held on Thursday, April 28th, with the presence of

Seyyed Reza Salehi Amiri, the head of the National Olympic Committee, Abdulhamid Ahmadi, the Deputy Minister of Sports, Alireza Heydari, Hassan Rangraz, Majid Jabbari, Behdad Salimi, and a group of athletes and artists at the Iran's Grand Bazaar library. The event aimed to gather athletes, artists, veterans, Olympic champions, philanthropists, traders, and businessmen from Iran's major market to assist the flood-affected compatriots.

During the event, Alireza Heydari made a valuable gesture by pledging to auction his bronze medal from the Athens Olympics with a base price of 320 million Tomans. Additionally, non-cash donations totaling 80 million Tomans were collected.

A cinema ticket worth 30 million Tomans was purchased by Mehdi Mohammadnabi, a member of the Perspolis board of directors. Furthermore, some attendees bought tickets for 9, 12, and 13 million Tomans to support the flood-affected people.

Continuing the event, participants contributed donations ranging from 200,000 to 5 million Tomans, while traders and businessmen from Iran's Grand Bazaar donated amounts ranging from 15 to 60 million Tomans to this charitable and godly cause. The total amount of public contributions reached 25 billion and 300 million rials (2 billion and 530 million Tomans) as of the time of reporting this news.

According to the organizers of the event, official details of the collected funds will be announced at the beginning of next week.

This event was organized in collaboration with the National Olympic Committee, Red Crescent Society, Peace and Sports Commission of the National Olympic Committee, UNESCO National Commission, Farabi Cinema Foundation, and Iran's Grand Bazaar. Following the event, the film "Gholamreza Takhti" was screened in two theaters at Iran's Grand Bazaar to support the flood-affected compatriots.
