"Snow falls silently" captures a realistic imagery of the 1960s era. A disruption in broadcasting dealt a blow to the work

Pantea Cyrus, a cinema and television actress, in an interview with Saba Radio and Television reporter, talked about her participation in the TV series "Snow falls silently"

directed by Pouriya Azarbayjani and produced by Mohammad Reza Shafiei, which is aired on Channel 3.

She said, "I had previously collaborated with Pouriya Azarbayjani, the director of the series. Based on my knowledge of him and his filmmaking skills, I accepted the role in this project. He is competent and knowledgeable in his work, so I have full trust in him to deliver good results. Another factor that convinced me to be part of the series was the character traits. In 'Snow falls silently,' I portray a religious woman who wears a chador. In real life, I don't wear a chador, so it was interesting for me to experience a role that I hadn't played before."

She added, "To effectively portray the role of a woman wearing a chador, I needed a reference point that I could feel connected to. Fortunately, I had such a person in my grandmother, who exactly matched the type of character I needed. Another motivating factor for my participation in the series was the story itself. The film's story takes place in the 1960s, a period that I have experienced and can emotionally connect with every moment. Therefore, I wanted to relive such a situation through this project."

Cyrus mentioned that she initially had some issues with the script and the role, but over time, those issues were resolved. She also mentioned that this role is different from her previous works because she usually plays vibrant and lively characters, so this role brought freshness for her. In this regard, she expressed her desire to be offered negative roles in the near future since she hasn't played a negative character before.

Regarding public reactions to the series, she said: "Based on people's feedback, it seems that they have enjoyed 'Snow falls silently.' Their comments emphasize that the series has portrayed the 1960s era effectively, and those who have experienced the 60s generally liked the series."

The actress of the series "Leila's Loneliness" added: "In this series, we may not sense much color, but that was intentional because during that period there wasn't much vibrancy. However, why such a situation existed should be answered by the authorities. In this conversation, I want to point out a common issue in television productions, which is that we never have a proper portrayal of the wealthy class, and our perspective in this area is mostly based on clichés."
