The video film "Amphibian" directed by Milad Jarmooz is being prepared for screening at the 29th Fajr International Film Festival.

According to Mehr News Agency, the producer of the film "Amphibian" has submitted the application form for participation in the 29th Fajr Film Festival. With the completion of editing by Mehdi Dehghan and music by Elham Abdollahzadeh, the film is ready for screening. In this film, Nasima Fetrat, Abbas Erfani, Mohammad Chehrazi, Saeed Yardousti, Ali Dastanpour, and Reza Salehpezhu are cast members.

The story of the film revolves around a mother and her child who are taken hostage by a group, and in this ordeal, the mother gains a new understanding of her husband.

The film's production team includes director: Milad Jarmooz, producer: Dariush Babaeean, cinematographer: Farhad Mahmoudi, sound recorder: Faramarz Mokhtari, makeup artist: Marjan Shivaee, set designer: Khashayar Mahmoudabad, editor: Mehdi Dehghan, production manager: Alireza Abab, assistant director planner: Masoud Jazairi, scene secretary: Poneh Khamin, procurement manager: Amir Saroshzadeh, public relations manager: Neda Zahedi, photographer: Keyhan Mohammad Baghban, behind-the-scenes photographer: Mina Golezadeh, sound recording: Anoosh Film Studio, produced by Shokoufa Film Cultural and Artistic Institute.

According to Eimna, Milad Jarmooz further added: "It took nearly two years for the initial story of the film to be completed, and after several rewrites, it reached its current form. One important aspect for me during this process was to narrate a story in a confined space while using a few actors, all while maintaining the attractiveness of the work."

He then stated about the film's story: "This film is about a mother and her child who are taken hostage by a group, and in this ordeal, the woman gains a new understanding of her husband. However, the story has many complexities, and I tried to present the doubts and crossroads of the film in an acceptable manner to the audience."

Jarmooz also commented on the selection and working with the cast of the film: "In terms of casting, after 2 months, we were able to utilize a talented theater team, although they were less known in the field of visual works. Nasima Fetrat, Abbas Erfani, Mohammad Chehrazi, Saeed Yardousti, Ali Dastanpour, and Reza Salehpezhu make up this group, and I feel they have delivered a relatively acceptable performance."

Regarding the other members of the crew, the filmmaker from Isfahan said: "Overall, working with these individuals was a good experience for me, and all the actors tried to do their job correctly. I enjoyed working with most of my friends."

He concluded by saying: "This film was a special experience for me because it was made in a confined space with a small cast. In fact, since I watched 'Shabe Yalda' by Pour-Ahmad, I really wanted to have an experience in this setting. Another notable point about 'Amphibian' is the use of a single-lens system with a 35mm camera for making this video film, which I believe is the second example of its kind made in Iran. The first option was 'Footballiha'."
