According to Saba News, Mehdi Soltani Sarvestani, an actor in the series "Afra," announced the end of filming in Tehran by sharing a photo and details about the series

directed by Behrang Tofiqi and co-produced by Majid Molaei and Mohammad Kambeez Darabi.

He wrote on his Instagram page: "Hello friends,

Today, on the seventh day of Tir month, the filming of the series 'Afra' in Tehran has come to an end. 'Afra' is a television series directed by Behrang Tofiqi, which started filming on September 12, 2020, and more than 90% of it was recorded in Gilan province, with the rest continuing in Tehran.

It is a social drama consisting of forty episodes that falls under the realm of family realism or domestic realism if we want to categorize its style.

Its heroes are 'innocent criminals,' and the reality is that it commits a crime. It is a melodrama that challenges love, separation, humiliation, crime, trust, envy, ambition, and more within the framework of drama.

Instead of summarizing the story, the creators have provided this text: 'On a misty autumn day, beneath the glorious branches of the Afra tree, a child is born; the result of the sinister union of morals and self-interest. The aged eyes of the Afra tree are the only witness to this secret deep within the forest. A witness who has learned, through a loving gaze at life, that loneliness is its sole companion.
