The possibility of producing a continuation of "Police Patrol" exists. We still have a story

Saeed Parvini, a television producer, discussed the possibility of producing a second season of the series "Police Patrol" in an interview with a reporter from Saba News

Agency. The series, directed by Mehrdad Khoshbakht and set to be re-aired on Tamasha network soon, faced production challenges due to the circumstances surrounding law enforcement agencies and the Naqqi Art Institute. Unfortunately, the production and pre-production of the second season were halted at an early stage.

Parvini explained that "Police Patrol" was initially written as a 13-episode series but only seven episodes were produced through rewriting and simultaneous shooting. However, considering that the plot and story have the potential for a 13-episode or longer series, the possibility of writing and producing a continuation exists.

Expressing regret about the lack of police and action genre works in cinema and television, Parvini stated that the audience enjoys such content but unfortunately, they are scarce. He acknowledged that film and television productions in this genre require more time due to filming, special on-location effects, computer graphics, and other factors, at least twice as long as dramas or social-themed works.

In conclusion, Parvini emphasized that if works with good stories in the police genre are produced, they will undoubtedly find an audience.

The first series of "Police Patrol," directed by Mehrdad Khoshbakht and produced by Saeed Parvini in collaboration with the Naqqi Art Institute and Sima Film Center, consisted of seven episodes.
